Advertising Sales Representative – Rochester, NY
Commercial Truck Trader is the industry leader in online advertising for new and pre-owned light, medium and heavy-duty commercial trucks and trailers. We are seeking an experienced Commercial Internet Advertising Sales Professional for an opportunity covering the Rochester, New York market.
As an Internet Advertising Sales Professional, you will be responsible for growing an assigned territory by meeting with prospective and existing customers to establish needs and make recommendations of internet advertising solutions based on those needs. The typical Sales Professional job responsibilities will include but not be limited to the following:
- Develop weekly and monthly tactical sales plans- as you will be selling approximately 80-85% of your time.
- Meet or exceed sales objectives and goals
- Locate, meet with and sell to prospects in your assigned area
- Sale Professionals will be asked to maintain revenues with existing customers through excellent customer service and account maintenance
- Up-sell internet based and ancillary product lines existing customer base
- Develop and maintain knowledge and proficiency in order entry, reports, and the management systems involved in our sales process
- Listening carefully and comprehensively to the customer/prospect responses; interpreting these comments or questions, and responding to the appropriate product recommendation or problem resolution to address customer/prospects needs and/or concerns.
BS/BA Degree or Associates Degree (A.A) or equivalent from two year college or technical school; or a minimum of six months of directly related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Previous Sales Experience is required (previous Outside sales experience is preferred)
Strongly prefer experience selling internet based products
Strong customer service skills are a must
Demonstrated ability to effectively manage time and independently prioritize tasks
Excellent team player
Internet Sales Representatives can expect to earn approximately $40- 50,000 in their first year on the job- (Commission, Mileage, Expense Reimbursements, and Benefits). Earning potential is uncapped, as sales representatives will be compensated for ALL of their sales.
